Prenatal + Postpartum Care | $3000

This option is available if you are wanting the personalized midwifery model of care for prenatal visits and the postpartum period, but know that you do not want to give birth at home (or if your risk status requires hospital delivery). We can provide you with the same high quality midwifery care and education through your childbearing year, even if you are planning to birth at a local hospital. *note that we do not go on-call and do not attend your birth with this option.

$500 deposit is due at the first visit with the remaining $2500 due by 28 weeks in the pregnancy. This package does NOT include the cost of lab work or ultrasounds, which are billed directly to your insurance. We are able to work with private insurance, though exact coverage will vary. We proudly accept Oregon Health Plan (all CCOs) for this service, which will cover 100% of the cost of care.

Prenatal Visits

We can start your care as soon as you decide you want us to be your midwife! Our prenatal care is personalized for your needs, and we welcome partners and children to participate in all appointments!

Care Schedule

+ 8-27 weeks (every 4 weeks)
+ 28-36 weeks (every 2 weeks)
+ 37-41 (weekly)
+ 41+ weeks (bi-weekly)

Initial Visit (90 minutes)

+ Review of family, health, and obstetrical history
+ Partial physical exam
+ Obstetrical exam (listening to baby’s heartbeat, and fetal growth check)
+ How to maintain a low risk pregnancy (nutritional and exercise counseling)
+ Initial lab work
+ Review resources

Routine Visit

+ Weight check
+ Fetal growth check
+ Listen to baby’s heartbeat
+ Nutrition and exercise counseling
+ Discuss all questions, or concerns in depth
+ Review labwork & ultrasound results

28 Week Visit

+ All components of routine visit
+ 28 week labs (including diabetes screen)

36 Week Home Visit

+ All components of routine visit
+ Group Beta Strep testing (GBS)
+ Tour of your home + provide birth kit
+ Planning for the big day, review of your birth preferences
+ Set up weekly prenatal visits until birth

Postpartum Care

We continue care for you and baby for the first 6 weeks postpartum, starting immediately after you give birth!

+ Herbal healing bath for parent and baby 
+ Breastfeeding/chestfeeding assistance & feeding support 
+ Newborn physical exam and continued well-baby care for the first 6 weeks of life 
+ 24-48 hour & 5-7 day in-home postpartum visits 
+ 2, 4, & 6 week office postpartum visits (telehealth also available)
